Description[?]:
The Socialist Union advocates neutrality in international affairs whilst advocating a programme of reform and progression domestically. Religion is important and shouldn't be ignored whilst the advocation of equal and progressive human rights is essential to creating a greater country. The economy should be chosen by the people with certain state intervention when needed. Education should be free and law and order firm and decent. As socialists we are willing to co-operate with the existing government yet we are opposed to far right movements which seek to exploit the people for their own ends. Society should progress forwards to a greater moral and secure society, science is crucial for this yet religion should give us the faith to be a better people. Free healthcare is essential for everyone especially the elderly and the young,. Welfare needs to be available for the less priveleged and the needy. The Socialist Union advocates the above and promises to govern the people in the interests of the people for the people. |
