Description[?]:
The Progressive Green Party was reformed in 2454 from the former International Green Socialist League, and is the only political entity within the Realm of Pontesi truly and wholly dedicated to the noble causes of both environmentalism and social progressivism. The Progressive Greens work towards the eventual nationalisation of all key services and industries of Pontesi. The PGP strives for a more stable international society, one where peace is held dear. It is for these reasons that we outright reject nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons, but also for the cause of our planet. Now is the time to stand up against the abuse of our planet, and the destruction of our natural habitat. The biggest threat we face, not only to our planet but to our entire civilisation, is that of climate change. The only way this can be tackled is through an entire revolution not only in energy production, but in lifestyle. Under the Progressive Greens, Pontesi will lead the way in Terra to make our world a healthier, safer one to live in. Renewable energy, greater investment in public transport, cleaner modes of transport. The Progressive Green Party is one of the few Parties that respect that we must protect the future. But in order to protect the future, we must also protect the present. This is why the PGP advocates mass investment in Health and Education, in order to create a comprehensive nationalised health service - free of use to any person. A national, fair education service is needed to gear our children in the right directions through life, and with them, the planet's future. Peace, equality, freedom; Environmentalism, secularism, social justice. Vote Progressive Greens! The real step forward. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe |
