Description[?]:
The Free Nirvana is a secessionist organization promoting mental and conceptual Freedom throughout Talmoria, particularly in Harisham and Uberra. It was formed as the result of a dramatic unification of distinctly Talmorian ideologies. In September, 2496, Venerable Aarhat Soupreem wrote a political omnibus titled The Greatest Society, which underscored the importance of having social and religious freedom as the basis of any just government. Ven. Aarhat was himself Beardist, and though his ideas are very globalist and intellectual in nature it came to be that his patriotic and egalitarian ideas were promulgated amongst the working classes of Talmoria. His Ideas were very popular. On June 2nd, 2497, a very well- known Beardist and Aarhat supporter, and Uberran separatist, Tar-tar Qwehnu, was unfairly arrested by anti-religious fanatics in the city of Iral, Bindurra, then the country's capital. Because of Qwehnu's openly secessionist positions, he was tortured and subsequently drowned. Many of Ven. Aarhat's supporters were also very fond of Tar-tar Qwehnu's "peace through self-government" message. On June 5th, Aarhat, sensing that his reputation was on the line, wisely proclaimed his unwavering support to the legacy of Qwehnu. This move made many of the separatist Beardists in Uberra and Harisham passionately supportive of Aarhat Soupreem and his movement for free and just society. Many of these supporters, poor workingmen of Uberran silicon mines, saw great cultural differences between Uberra and Harisham (collectively known as Nirvana by these men, but known as 'The Barbary Coast' throughout the rest of Talmoria), and the rest of Talmoria, particularly their reverence to the beard. In another flash of political genius, Soupreem declared the formation of the Free Nirvana, a political action group aimed at freedom of self-government for the Nirvana prefectures. Thanks in most part to media coverage of the preceeding events, in it's first parliamentary elections, those of June 2497, the party received 25,000 votes but unfortunately did not receive any seats in the Republic Parliament. On February 20th, 2498, Ven. Aarhat Soupreem was savagely beaten by Anti-Nirvana agents in the heart of Falswick, Harisham. He died shortly thereafter. In March of 2498, a former Soupreem student, Mit Neckbeard, asked that all true Free Nirvana supporters come to a concensus on the future of the party. The resulting conference, which lasted into April, became known as the Nirvana Achievement. Mit Neckbeard's leadership, as well as the political cornerstones of the party, were vehemently cemented at this conference. Also at the conference, a group of twenty thousand Neckbeard supporters (who were not from Nirvana), known as Neckbeard International, declared their allegiance to the party and intention to emigrate to Nirvana. On April 20, 2498, Mit Neckbeard was elected the Soupreem Protector of the Union for a Free, Just, and Neckbearded Nirvana. He is the effectual leader of the party. The new Free Nirvana was born. The party has hence set forward their Essential Threefold Way: All persons are and ought to be free, from the moment of birth. Complete freedom of choice and expression are essential to fair government. That Nirvana, through forces peaceful or powerful, Shall be a allowed self rule. It is not necessary that blood be shed towards these ends, but we are prepared.
