MessageWe feel article 2 is questionable because it guarruntees a minimum income to any person, even if they are unemployed. While we feel this is necessary, it the basic income provision should expire after a certain amount of time. That ensures that any unemployed person cannot simply live at home and collect govenment money. They should have to find a job.

MessageOnce again, the cold and heartless M.R.P. speaks. But you can't blame them, all they care about is the rich.

We applaud the M.R.P. for their move against the suffering and poor!

MessageWe simply oppose taking money from people who work in order to give it to people who do not work. There are a lot of other problems and issues, but that's the fundamental principle.

MessageI do in fact see what you mean, but it says it is very basic. Very basic means that it is just enough to get by, and I mean, what kind of person would want just enough money to get by. I mean, me personally, and I am sure every single one of you, want more thant "just enough"

MessagePersonally, speaking as Chairman of the Secularist Libertarian Party? Maybe I want more than just enough, but I don't want it from the government. I want to earn it myself. If I am given money for free, tax money from the government, that's just unfair, unfair to me as a lazy nonworking jerkwad, unfair to the hard workers whose money it is, and unfair to society by encouraging the former instead of the latter.

The Golden Rule kind of backfires when one hates oneself, we suppose.

MessageBut you seem to miss that fact that, the money that the people are receiving is "just enough". The money they make is very basic. THat means that it is enough for the basic needs of life.

MessageThough for my want for this to pass, I shall propose a new one, with a less extreme form of article 2
