Message | The Solentian's use these crude and horrible weapons, not Jakanian's. By using these weapons we are merely stooping to their level which makes us no better. The Solentian's used these weapons against the people already. If we come in contact with them in the Wantuni Republic and use these weapons we will be harming everyone - citizens and enemy soldiers. We will not do what we condem them for doing. If we do what they do, we are not better than the Solentians. |

Message | If there is/were some sort of option such as 'The nation reserves the right to use nuclear/chemical/biological weapons on enemy military targets, but never on civilians", we would completely support that. |

Message | why would you want to make people suffer with such crude and horrible weapons? they are horrible ways of making people suffer to win a war. |

Message | SLP: As a hypothetical, can these weapons ever soley be used against military targets? Surely this is why we outlaw them - the weapons ensure indiscriminate destruction. But perhaps you were implying this through irony. But more on topic, our party agrees that we can not utilise these weapons. We also recognise that Solentia can not be used as an excuse to forget our values. If these weapons were unacceptable to us yesterday, they must remain so today. We must be strong in the face of our enemy, and cling to the values of our nation. We can not sink to their level; otherwise we will only equal Solentia by becoming Solentia. And if that happens, what would we have left to fight for? |
