Bill: Privatising Agriculture
Details

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2366

It has recently come to our attention that the state still controls agriculture in this nation. We need to privatise it both to allow for food to be more efficiently provided for our citizens and to free up more of the government's resources for the one job it's actually there for (that is, defense). |

Message | I feel as though I need to vote no on this. Here is why. With article one, food is a need of life, farmers are the people who give us our food, if they are struggling they deserve to get some money from the government. Now article 2 is fine |
Date | 01:46:09, February 26, 2007 CET | From | Moderate Republican Party | To | Debating the Privatising Agriculture |
Message | Article one is a large concern. While we believe the current law is bad and that farms should NOT be owned by the govenment, farmers should also not be completely denied subsidary assistance. Some form of assistance is needed for farmers, and this issue will be addressed in a future bill by the M.R.P. |
