Message | As this bill was unvaled before the Supreme Council, Supreme Councilman George Gereg arose in a burst of outrage. After taking the floor, he offered his words of "criticism". "Preventing citizens the ability to show their opinions and voice their expressions will only anger them more than they may be already. We believe that freedoms in various categories should have a point to where the excessiveness is stopped, but this is a situation of utmost regards towards the topic of destroying, severing, and eviscerating citizen's common ground freedoms. This bill is an outrage to civil liberties and to civil rights. This bill terrorizes a citizen's right to express him or herself. This is a form of terrorism in itself! A flag is a flag, it has no possession towards human qualities. While it should be respected it is the right of a citizen to overcome a preventing law with civil disobedience and practical points in law to be seperated as is. The government can and should not be able to massacre a citizen's rights to brutally. We do not think burning a flag is wise, especially one that means so much, but we do not believe in burning down citizen's rights for a flag's sake." - L.D.P. Ranking Councilman George Gereg |

Message | "We totally support Supreme Councilman George Gereg on this issue. It would appear the opposition on this issue knows nothing about defending civil liberties." - Jim Webb, JPJ |

Message | "We also support Mr. Gereg on the issue. This bill is extremely open-ended. We ask the Republican Party to state how the flag can be desecrated or dishonored. For example, burning the United States flag is considered the proper way to dispose of it." - MRP Minority Leader Matt Unger |
