Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | The state is already spending so much money to keep prisoners imprisoned that it proves much more useful if we receive some return on the investment as we do by not paying them and mandating manual labor. Since the labor need not be exhaustive, it also needn't be too harsh a punishment, but enough to serve as a small repayment to society for damages done. Prisoners are therefore owed nothing in return and this bill is ludicrous. |

Message | We disagree with in the questinable, and to a degree inhuman, views of the PEP and vote FOR the bill. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
