Message | Although we would indeed like to vote in favour of this bill we find ourselves voting against it. This is for a 'relatively' simple reason and that is there must be checks in place for who is entering our country. Not forgetting (and I hate to say this) the reasons given by the PAL. |
Date | 15:36:55, August 09, 2005 CET | From | Social-Liberal Party | To | Debating the Welcoming the world |
Message | We support this initiative, a nation open to immigrants has historically proven to become stronger. Immigrants contribute to Beluzian society, and the SLP sees no reason to remove them. We would like to retain national security as a reason for refusing immigrants. |
