MessageWe would also support renaming Rildanor to the République Reconstituée de Rildanor (Restored Republic of Rildanor) or the Royaume de Rildanor (Kingdom of Rildanor), if the Sénat is prepared for a return to the constitutional monarchy.

MessageIf there is enough support for a move to a constitutional monarchy then we support this. Otherwise, we will vote against.

Also, 2/3 support is needed to withdraw from the Union.

MessageCertainly Rildanor would remain a democratic control even with a SYMBOLIC and CEREMONIAL monarch.

FromFront Nationaliste Royaliste
ToDebating the Déclaration de l'Indépendance Unilatérale
MessageWhat sort of concessions would the Parti Orthodoxe Rouge require in order to support the restoration of a constitutional monarch? Remember that the restoration of the constitutional monarchy is the only way the nationalists (FNR + POR) can convince the other royalists (PA + PPN) to support a return to sovereignty.

FromParti Orthodoxe Rouge
ToDebating the Déclaration de l'Indépendance Unilatérale
MessageWe would like a guarantee that the monarch will remain out of the political arena. The monarchy shall only be a ceremonial role. The monarchy should not be allowed to participate in the politics of our nation in any way.

FromFront Nationaliste Royaliste
ToDebating the Déclaration de l'Indépendance Unilatérale
MessageIn order to secure a relatively peaceful and uncontroversial transfer of power and the acceptance of the new Rildanorian monarchy by the Rildanorian people, we have proposed a much more modernised and reformed monarchy. The Sovereign's title shall be "Roi des Rildanoriens" (King of the Rildanorians) instead of the more traditional "Roi de Rildanor" (King of Rildanor). The nation's head of government shall be restyled "Premier Ministre" (lit. Prime/First Minister) instead of the old "Premier". Furthermore, we have added a clause extending the size of the Sénat de Rildanor to 300 Senatuers.

However, the last remaining thing to do is to reform our national flag. In order to drive a compromise between the very republican present flag and the traditional golden fluer-de-lis on white, we propose the following solution:

1. http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/images/Canada/factfile/Quebec_flag.png (OOC: Flag of Quebec) will be adopted as the national flag of Rildanor;
2. http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/f/fr_roys.gif (OOC: Royal Standard of the Bourbon Restoration) will be adopted as the personal standard of the Sovereign.

((OOC: Think more in terms of the July Monarchy in France, which was my inspiration for most of this. I'm open to debate on the Quebecer flag being used, but I'm quite fond of it.))

MessageUnfortunately, we cannot propose a full monarchical constitutional amendment until after we have withdrawn from the Union. However, we believe that the word of the Parti Orthodoxe Rouge will be sufficient to ensure a passage of the constitutional amendment after our withdrawal from the Union. However, the titling of the head of state and the other reforms will be passed along with the Déclaration de l'Indépendance Unilatérale.

MessageWe prefer the first flag proposal as it is more simple and at the same time shows the fleur-de-lis. Everything else is good. The monarchy system will have to be introduced quickly once this bill passes.

MessageWell at least with this bill being voted on the voters can activily choose whether or not ot declair indipendence or reestablish the monarch... we will know thier will by their votes.

OOC: obviously the seperation issue is not applicable to the logarythm that calculates our seats but oh well... oh and to note i am not reffering to any support for the pretender to be president... that is different from wanting him to be a monarch... so don't jup on my ass for that... thank you :) !

Message"The convoluted and undemocratic structure of the Union of South Selaya has hampered the political, social, and economic progress of Rildanor."

This is an outright FALLACY, unsupported by any shred of fact. The history, culture and people of Rildanor and Kanjor share many things, and what is a nation if not the union of similar peoples? Together we can succeed in many things. As the Kanjoran motto states, there is strength in unity. I plead with our Rildanoran kin to reconsider this proposal and understand how great a thing our union is.

Sincerely,
Le Parti Pour Paix et Progress,

We are disheartened by this move, our greatest allies speaking seditiously against us. The people of Kanjor still support the people of Rildanor regardless.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
