From | Progressive Evolution Party | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | Secular democrats? More like right-wing nut jobs, you wolves in sheeps clothing! You devils have support of the death penalty, outrageously armed policemen, and nuclear brinkmanship on the agenda! Ikradonians are not fooled, and neither are we! |

From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | The Secular Democrats are a party in favor of a strong State and a strong defense policy that will insure that all Ikradonians are safe. As for our support of the death penalty, it is a very limited support, we do not believe that a State should enforce a death penalty in criminal matters (which leads to abuse, racism, and lacks elements of due process). But concerning traitors, terrorists and those who commit crimes against humanity, we support the existence of the death penalty as those crmes are byound criminal. They hanged the Nazis at Nurmburg for crimes against Humanity last I remember! And how dare you refer to our party as a bunch of "nut jobs", is that how you will phrase your arguements in the future, with insults and disrespect. I suggest you be more polite in the future, savage attacks just create partison hatered, which makes goverence more difficult and less enjoyable... |

From | New Democratic Party | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | I would have opposed, if I'd been alive then, the execution of the Nazis. I think incarcerating them and allowing them to see how the world has rejected their agenda of hate would be the most fitting punishment. As I would oppose the execution of any traitor, terrorist, or war criminal, no matter how vile their acts. I don't believe it solves anything, and I also don't believe the police need tanks and assault rifles to keep order. |

From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | It was not the prospect of death that scared many of them (some but not many). It was the prosepect of being hung, a criminals way to die, as opposed to a firing squad (seen as an honorable military death) that inspired fear . Thats the reason two killed themselves rather then be hung and expierence the humiliation. Such is the power of symbolism, and there is no greater symbolism then societies power to condemn those who have grossly harmed it to a premature nonexistence... |

From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | I would just like to point something out. The proposal specificaly says "police officers carry military grade equipment". Carry is the key word, it means equipment such as body armor, not tanks or anti-aircraft missles, just body armor and higher grade guns! |

From | Progressive Evolution Party | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | A pack of self-righteous militarist bastards, all of you! The PEP despises the entirety of the rhetoric issued by the Secular Democrats. Its agenda of suspicion, distrust, and intrigue spells nothing but disaster for this Republic! |

From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | A pack of insulting, disrespectful ranters, that describes you PEP. If you disagree with our parties position, so be it, there is no need to resort to baseless attacks and over righteous proclamations of delusional grander... |

From | | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | With this proposal; our honourable colleagues of the Secular Democrats have drawn a line of morality - seperating what they believe to be crimes against humanity and.... oh yes everything else and have decided that the only way to punish such crimes would be yet another crime against humanity. The IRP opposes and will continue to do so. |
Date | not recorded |
From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | See PEP how the IRP disagrees and states its case without resorting to personal attacks. It is not the only way we propose crimes against Humanity be punished, just an option our State should not forsake... |

From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | We are constantly amazed and saddened by the Secular Democrats' militaristic views on the world. We had hoped all the people of Ikradon had progressed beound such cruelties, but we seem to have been mistaking. We firmly oppose this bill, as we have opposed all similar attemps to bring these barbaric practices into use, and will continue to do so as long as we have a say in politics. |

From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | So, you admit that you're expecting the worst of our citizens at all times, hence mandating the use of such excessive means? Or is your secret plan a dictatorial regime, where the police do your bidding in a reign of terror? |
Date | not recorded |
From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | To answer the first part of your question, yes, we do not trust the people. To answer the second part of your question, no we have know wish to establish a dictorship and enact a "reign of terror", such acts would lead to civil war and weaken the State... |

From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the State Powers Act III | Message | This bill is for the safety of the upper classes of the people, who wish to shield themselves from the deserved wrath of the masses, and nothing more! |
