| Message | I think you mean stanza, not couplet. Regardless, most people don't know all the words to their national anthem. That's just life. We don't need to go to all the effort to legislate that the anthem is too long just because we don't trust the public to be able to learn it. |

| Message | Firstly, we have no evidence that it actually isn't used. Secondly, there seems something a bit sad about cheerfully deleting part of our national heritage so that people too lazy to learn the whole thing can feel a bit better about themselves. |
