MessageWe believe President to be an appopriate title for the head of state, support articles 5 and 4, but believe elections that there is already considerable time between elections, enough to govern effectively. We must decide whether to vote for or against this.

MessageStrongly opposed.
The new Head of State title is OK, and the anthem change is acceptable; but all of the other articles we oppose.

In particular, 42 IC months between elections precisely matches an OOC week, which provides the considerable OOC convenience of having the scheduled elections occur at the same time each week. 48 IC months is eight OOC days, which doesn't match anything.

Also, we've had the number of seats in the Assembly set at 717 for almost a century and a half now. Maintaining it at this figure allows current and future party sizes to continue to be very easily compared with past ones, by simply directly comparing the number of seats, instead of needing to each and every time either manually perform the arithmetic or look it up in each party's table of percentages.

(Why do new parties perpetually want to meddle with the total number of seats in the legislature? A change there would not give them any advantage whatsoever; it would just constitute an OOC inconvenience with no benefits.)

MessageWe have problems with this proposal too.

Art:
1. The current national anthem refers to the Kirlawan civil war and fascist domination. This era should not be forgotten.
2. We see no reason to change the title of HOS.
3. We believe that youngsters become adults at 16. No need for a change.
4. We are opposed to national sentiments.
5. No, the current legislative period is just fine to us.
6. The DFM agree with the KPJP on this.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
