Bill: Funding Initiative for Nationwide Recycling Facilities

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Evolution Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2041

Description[?]:

Cognizant of the reality that waste production in this nation is skyrocketing; mindful that certain industrial packaging materials are not naturally biodegradable; hopeful that reusable materials and technologies will become the forefront of waste management policies of the future; aware of the necessary energy consumption inherent in recycling procedures; still desirous to make an effort to reduce the waste production of the status quo; the Parliament of the Democratic Republic of Ikradon establishes an initiative to fund a nationwide network of recycling facilities, including waste-to-energy conversion facilities, as well as standard recycling facilities for polymer- and petrol-based packaging elements, including but not limited to glass and plastic containers, and paper packaging and/or documentation products.

MessageThat's enough of the SDP's nonsense "waiting until after the election." We're now strongly convinced they're up to something and these votes are being moved to the floor immediately.

MessageWe don't have need of pushing the SDP's "buttons." However, we have no reason to delay these bills any further for whatever devious intent that party may have. Democracy isn't on the SDP's time clock and we've got a country to serve.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
