MessageThough we are in favor of protecting the environment, we cannot allow the federal government to have such power. Local governments should decide this.

MessageWe agree - surely this is not an issue of national concern, and has no need for unification in policy. Let local governments determine their own approaches to their own particular issues in this area.

MessageThe problem is repercussions of pollution do not subsist in one arbirtrary border and desist in another; Dranland needs a comprehensive solution with interregional information and cooperation. Companies will just gravitate toward the province with the least pollution restrictions, leaving the other provinces' poorer and their attempts to curb pollution futile.

Local governments deal magnificently with issues affecting diverse conditions on a small scale; this is the complete opposite.

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
