Message | "Combination of NLP and HA - our voters cannot think of something worse." |
Date | 23:46:40, August 29, 2008 CET | From | Imperium Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2628 |
Message | I'm greatly outraged the Humanist Alliance have proposed this cabinet, quite frankly I think this is a joke. May I state the congress that the New Liberal Party don't deserve to be in any shape or form to be part of a coalition cabinet. This is evident in the past years when the NLP was part of the cabinet, many of our members including myself have called up their ministers to explain their actions but none is willing to stand up to the Congress and speak, everyone single one of them are cowards. Also I do share your concern in not being proposed to be part of the cabinet by the RDF however me and my colleagues in the Imperium Party do want you to be part of the cabinet and would like to ask the RDF to shuffle the cabinet to allow some HA members in. Percival van Rustenburg Imperium Party Leader |

Message | We appreciate your concerns, but the people of Rutania have spoken. The NLP are the largest party in cabinet and any cabinet that does not include them in the executive power of government are neglecting the wishes of 20% of Rutania. The Humanist Alliance sees the RDF forum's petty politics as pathetic. |

Message | "And every government that does not include CLR, IP, RDF and SL is neglecting more than 40 % of Rutanian citizens. So? Your argument of "neglecting the wishes of 20 % of Rutania" has no sense. You and New Liberal Party may be major parties, but you do not have a monopoly to power and to interpretation of "wishes of Rutania"." Michael Ford, MNC President of RDF |

Message | It will be up to Congress to decide the outcome not to the RDF. |

Message | It is wonderful to hear the voice of the New Liberal Party, last time they spoken to the congress was 10 years ago. Percival van Rustenburg Imperium Party Leader |

Message | I can't believe the Progressive Conservative Party favored this...even though the RDF's proposal would put the PCP in more important positions of power. |

Message | "Well, what PCP wants, that will PCP get. Their voters will certainly not be quite satisfied..but that's their problem. Now the only thing is to pray that this new government will not repeat the period of "expanding freedom" back in 2616-2619" Geogre Gray, MNC Vice president of RDF |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "You will win, but you will not convince. You will win, because you possess more than enough brute force, but you will not convince, because to convince means to persuade. And in order to persuade you would need what you lack, reason and right in the struggle." - Miguel de Unamuno |
