Message | Since no party apparently had any comments to add, I'm moving this to voting. [OOC: I didn't know there was a debate phase for cabinet proposals, as ITC has always brought these straight to voting. I would have put this up before for debate earlier had I known about this, isntead of negotiating completely in secrecy.] |
Date | 22:26:25, April 27, 2005 CET | From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of May 2043 |
Message | My party, as the second largest party in Ikradon, demands the Office of Foreign Affairs or Internal Affairs. We also ask that the OPLS be given a seat... Until that happens we vote no... |

Message | It is undemocratic to have the second largest party ikradon excluded from the governent! |
Date | 11:17:56, April 28, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of May 2043 |
Message | I fail to see how excluding a party with so radically different political views from the other parties in the cabinet is 'undemocratic'. At the moment, I doubt our parties could collaborate in a satisfactory manner. [OOC: And seriously, in real-life politics... the second-largest party is usually the odd man out in cabinet formation. The largest party will ally with the third-largest party.] |
