Bill: Protection of National Assets

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ikradonian Faith Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2135

Description[?]:

After months of analysis and studying the statistics, the IFP proposes the following legislation changes to increase the security of our nation's assets. We acknowledge that this means that Ikradonians will be trading some civil liberties for enhanced security, but we feel that in these times the trade-off is ultimately beneficial to all.

MessageWe have removed Article 1 from the bill (issuing passports to Ikradonians after invasive security checks instead of cursory security checks) in the hope that the NHP will now be able to support the bill as a whole.

MessageWe are glad for the amendments but are still not too happy - especially with 4 (was 5).
However, the bill as a whole is a good step so we will support.
