Message | Senators, They have lost their rights, they violated the law. They should be punished according, if they cannot follow the law...how can they effectively chose candidates? Maybe they are the ones who voted in the fascists from the Razm Ambhaz Party. |

Message | "Senators, Criminals serving prisoners are being punished by their imprisonment. In a democracy all have a say - even those we do not like, or those who have made huge mistakes. Democracy protects and values the rights of all, not just the rights of the 'good' Also we would ask the DWP to refrain from using such inflamatory language towards the RAP as this is not beneficial for constructive senatorial debate |
Date | 01:35:37, August 20, 2012 CET | From | Solentia Peoples Party | To | Debating the Democracy Bill |
Message | Senators, The DWP probably isn't aware that prisoners have access to information via newspapers, internet and television. Some people living in freedom, that have all the information at their disposals, don't even keep up with all the latest political news. The DWP's argument is pointless, in that regard. It's also condescending to the men and women in correctional facilities. As much as we enjoy being compared to a fascist party by the DWP, we will have to vote NO as well. We would sign a bill that has a proposal that gives them to right immediately after they are released fro prison. |
