| We, experts of various nationalities and creeds, employed by the Society for Liberation (SfL), has reached an agreement on a carefully balanced constitutional reform act, not meant to be the goal but the beginning, the foundation of something new. I. We suggest the creation of a republican system of government and thereby the abolishment of the Empire. The republic should be led by firm hand, by a leader named Consul who is both Head of Government and Head of State. He or she shall have the sole authority to propose cabinets in the nation. II. We suggest that Pontesi shall be given back it's old full name, "Realm of Pontesi" (OOC naming: Regnum Pontesiae, Kns Pnte). We realize that this is not a suggestion that fully satisfies any side, but it is a compromise in a time where we are in need of a name that does not take connote imperial dignity. Issues like the creation of a Republic, the existence of a Pontesi nationhood, the legitimacy of the Union of Imperial Crusader Kingdoms, should be solved at a later date. However, the incredible victory of the SfL in the elctions shows a large support of making Pontesi bilingual, with Selucian as the second official language, and this should be respected and implemented. III. We suggest the creation of a new variation of the flag, simplified to make it easier to reproduce for ordinary citizens, to clearly mark the beginning of a new era and the Liberationist regime's closeness to ordinary people. IV. We suggest the modification and alteration of certain official Pontesian national symbols. The Scarlet Lynx should once again be made national animal, together with the Red-tailed hawk. The beautiful art of Magic (stage magic) is deeply rooted in Pontesi's national history, and should replace the imperialistic cricket as the national sport. A new national motto, and a new anthem should also be proposed. While we know that many would ask for the Ode to Overlord Xarfaxis as the national anthem, politicians should take caution in proposing this, perhaps omitting the first verse. |

| Message | Well, we thought of the renaming of the country to "Realm of Pontesi" as a compromise, though since the overwhelming majority of the people wants the UCIK (UCCR - Unione Caesareae Cruciferi Regnis - in Selucian) back, who are we to deny them? After all, it's not likely that the Democrat Party would compromise on the issue either. We do stress the importance of not implementing radical changes to fast thought, that has made liberation attempts fail two times already. There is however one point where we cannot agree: we are vehemently opposed to having a separate HoG. This was never the UICK. A country needs a firm hand, not a multitude of bureaucrats, and the merging of the positions of HoS/HoG does not contradict the principle of separation of powers, since both belong to the executive. |

We suggest it should be Lords' as opposed to Lord's so as to promote a more oligarchical rather than dictatorial structure. We would support the UICK flag. Our support of UICK is due to the working class' fond memories of the UICK era. (OOC: I.E. the ATR government of Barmenia running a centuries long propaganda campaign to reinforce that message in the minds of the working class.)
