The parliament of Ikradon, RECOGNISING that profit-driven medias often exaggerate events and display false information in order to attract more viewers/listeners, while UNDERSTANDING the dangers associated with fully state-owned medias, DECIDES to bring all radio and television medias in the democratic republic under state control. SETS a committee of indepent journalists to oversee the broudcasting policy of all radio and television stations, to prevent biased broadcasting in favour of the state, while making certain that all information broadcast in radio and television are in keeping with good journalist custom and do not broadcast false information as facts. |

Message | Actually, it could be said that private media is the least independent because it is profit-oriented. There are enough protections of free speech in this bill and in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms that we feel comfortable voting in favour. |
