Bill: National Coalition Expansion - 3758

Details

Submitted by[?]: Great National Republican Guard

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3758

Description[?]:

Upon passage of this bill, Gordon Fertig will resign from Presidency to hand over to a candidate from the Social Libermuns Party.

The NLA, which has worked with the GNRG and the predecessor of the LNC in the past, would join the coalition to give it the majority required for continuancy.

The ruling coalition currently has 265 seats. With the addition of the NLA, it would be 310 seats.

Like the SLP, the NLA has Nationalist roots but has adopted liberal stances as well. This coalition could work well, and allow a moderate balance of Lodamun's varying political stances.

We just hope this government will get something done for a change. Previous administration was very slow at acting.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The government proposed here has nothing new and positive to offer the people of Lodamun. The continuation of extremist nationalists in power spells disaster for the Lodamese people.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Please advise the CMA Chairman to avoid making threats to cause "disaster" for our constituents. We know that the HLF has a tendency to commit acts of terrorism when the CMA doesn't get its way in the Presidium.
