Message | Mr. speaker, They could not be Lodamese Nationalists because Lodamese Nationalism is anti-prayer. Also, the Independents cannot be punished for blasphemy since no laws about blasphemy existed at the time this was set to vote. -- Andre Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Minister of Trade & Industry, Vice President of Lodamun |
Date | 18:14:30, December 05, 2014 CET | From | Ecumenical Constitutional Democrat Party | To | Debating the A Petition from the Public |
Message | Ah, well, perhaps they are very extreme Lodamese Nationalists. We are sure by "prayer" they mean some kind of secular celebration of nationhood which is SIMILAR to prayer. We are just representing ordinary citizens views. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, How about enacting Law retroactivity. this way, we will be able to punish the indepedents for blasphemy, we do not suggest execution, but maybe torture. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We are not in favour of law retroactivity. This creates complications every time a law is changed. A law will only be in effect when current. -- Andre Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Minister of Trade & Industry, Vice President of Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker, we would like to make clear to Independents party that there are some rules in this Presidium. For starters, it would be polite to adress yourself to the Speaker or the Members of Presidium when speaking. Secondly, bills need to be discussed first before they are sent to vote, conferring to http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=404088. Also, half a year from now there will be elections, so putting a bill to vote at this stage is useless since it will be kicked back to debate when elections occur. Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
