Bill: Freeing the Economy Act of 3788

Details

Submitted by[?]: Union Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3788

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

When we have freer markets, ultimately, the people benefit. Regulations only hamper growth and hurt those at the very bottom. Labor laws only keep our workers trapped in their current situation, and it prevents them from climbing the economic ladder to success.

Thomas Land MP (U)
Party Finance Adviser

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".

Random quote: "It is necessary for him who lays out a state and arranges laws for it to presuppose that all men are evil and that they are always going to act according to the wickedness of their spirits whenever they have free scope." - Niccolo Machiavelli
