Voting deadline: March 3958
Description[?]:
The hedgehog is one of our most beloved and admired natural species, yet it is under threat as never before. Hedgehog numbers have been dwindling for decades, and the Hedgehog Welfare Society have informed me that unless we take urgent action very soon, hedgehogs will disappear entirely from some parts of the country. We cannot allow this to happen. No Hutori child should grow up without seeing a wild hedgehog in its natural surroundings. Since pesticides are a chief culprit for declining hedgehog numbers, we propose pesticides should be banned. These chemicals should never have been put in our food anyway; we will all be healthier for their removal. We also propose a law which compels people to put small holes in their garden fences, so hedgehogs can move about freely. According to the Hedgehog Welfare Society, this will significantly improve hedgehog welfare and will make it easier for them to move around and find mates to breed with. We also propose a cull of badgers, since badgers are driving hedgehog numbers down. And we propose that every local council should be compelled to employ a Hedgehog Officer, who will be responsible for championing the cause of hedgehogs. The people of Hutori love their hedgehogs and do not want to lose them. Heed the will of the people! Bobby Powell Chairman of the National Action Party |

Message | The principle is good especially banning pesticides an having Hedgehog Officers however a cull on badges would be cruel |
Date | 15:05:55, December 24, 2015 CET | From | National Action Party | To | Debating the Egog Preservation Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Hedgehogs are more important than badgers at the moment because hedgehogs are in danger of being wiped out across many parts of the country. Besides, the hedgehog is a native Hutori animal, whereas the badger is an immigrant from Telamon. Prime Minister Bobby Powell |
