This agreement will see the modernization of the Hutorian Air Force and Navy. As the Zardic government will provide the schematics for their Z-35 strike fighter aircraft and will provide support in the construction of three aircraft carriers based upon the designs of their main carrier. In return Hutori will allow for the construction of a Zardic military base on Hutorian soil, abolish tariffs with regards to Zardic merchants and allow for the subsidization of advertisement for the aforementioned merchants. As per the agreement both nations will also enter into a mutual defense arrangement that will require the response of one of the nations if one of the signatories is attacked in a non-retaliatory nature. We the Hutorian government will set aside land on the north end of the Isle of Sutton in the Roccato province for use by the Zardic government for the construction and operation of a military base. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Before we could even start to consider supporting this bill more details should be presented such as the location of the aforementioned military base. My chief concern is that we are not exactly receiving a fair deal and if we are to abolish tariffs, allow them to operate on our soil, and subsidize the advertisement for theirs merchants then we should be receiving more from them. We will wait for more details. Sen. Ramsey C. Warren (SPH-AD) |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I understand Senator Warren's concern however, with regards to the trade agreement this is only slightly different than any other free trade agreement. And I will also take under advisement the need for specificity with regards to the military base I thank the senator for bring up that point. I assure you that I will look into that matter. As far as not receiving our fair share I assure you that is not the case the Z-35 fighters are the best fighter craft made to date. With stealth technology, superior fire power, speed and maneuverability compared to any other craft. Their carriers are also the best in the world and without their assistance a program to construct something of equal measure would cost immeasurably more. So in the long run this benefits both nations and brings us closer together. President John Graham |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Though our party has long been held as one which views war as the absolute last resort, and has proposed cuts to military expenditure in the past, we see this trade agreement as a responsible step forward. Many senators in the NDP also share the concern of Senator Warren with regards to the base's approximate location, however at the current time we are willing to put our support behind this bill. Message | Mr. Speaker, We have now provided the location for where the base is to be built. I now ask of the other parties if this is an acceptable location. President John Graham |

Message | The Socialist Party should be ashamed that they are supporting this proposal. This not only undermines our country's sovereignty it will also cost thousands of their jobs in favour of Zardic businesses boosting their profits. They come and go like a bad storm but again they are proving that they aren't at all left-wing. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The Communist can let off all the hot air they want but when it comes down to it this agreement would be very beneficial for the Federal Republic and as far as job loss goes this agreement will actually increase jobs in our defense industry as, the way I have interpreted, Hutorians will be building the Z-35 with support from the Zardics. The SPH is not fond of having the Zardic build a military base on our soil, let alone on the Isle of Sutton, or abolishing tariffs but those are sacrifices we are willing to make in order to assure our military is well prepared with tensions increasing around the world. Message | Mr. Speaker, It is a great shame that a party which will inevitably disband itself yet again in a few years time is inflicting such great pain our country by voting in favour of this legislation. We hope that when they do disappear once again in the near future that this treaty can be repealed. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, What experience in foreign policy, effective economics and or military doctrine does the communist party have? Do they not appreciate the advantageous position that we've put the Hutorian military in? Or perhaps they disagree with mutual defense pact we have negotiated that will help deter Trigunian aggression. And one thing that is for certain they fail to see the economic gains that this negotiation will bring to the Hutorian people. I truly pity the ignorance that the CPH has for everything outside of Hutori. For contrary to CPH belief we do live in a global society which precludes an effective leader from being ignorant of the outside world. Sen. Stephen Johnson (F-AD) |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
