Bill: Marriage & Adoption Act of June 4001

Details

Submitted by[?]: Labour Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4002

Description[?]:

It is unacceptable that the government does not involve itself in civil marriage contracts. We must be making these positive steps to ensure that we live in a fairer society for all. Furthermore, we must also ensure that those who decide to adopt children are fit to raise children. We must be enacting reform to very carefully screen those who want to adopt children.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
