MessageMr speaker, this bill simply disgusts me. Why should local governments be allowed to control a military and have the right to take away democracy from the people. How much power are we willing to give away like sweets to radical local governments?
Thank you
Adam Thal
Representative.

MessageMr. Speaker,

To counter that argument, I would ask why central government should have such a vast array of powers. Concentrating power into the hands of one body is extremely dangerous and undemocratic. If Ardinians and Khodorians have different views on different issues, why shouldn't they be allowed to set laws which suit their individual needs?

In regards to the proposed military policy, we will expand on this proposal in the next legislature. For example, we are considering proposing the creation of a "Defence Council" in which each region gets one vote. This regards declarations of war and troops deployments etc.
