Could Mr. Lexington please explain how this will prevent the exportation of jobs?

We echo Senator Smith's statement. How does preventing foreign investors the freedom of investment stop any Hutorian companies from exporting jobs?

MessageMr Speaker,

This is a large concern of the members of our party and we will be massively in support. Let's give back Hutorians their companies, jobs and freedoms.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This bill does not prevent foreign investment, it prevents them from taking control of Hutorian businesses completely. I really don't believe I have to go into deep detail about the growing concern workers have as more and more businesses, Hutorian businesses, are being purchased and solely run by foreign investors. These foreign investors have no ties to Hutori and therefore have no anchor to keep the business here. When these foreign investors they find the cheapest way, in which they have and we have slowly seen jobs exported since our government starting allowing foreign investors to hold a majority share, to make a profit is by exporting our jobs to a nation were workers will be paid a fraction of what Hutorians are paid.

I urge the Royalist and Federalist to both consider, for once, doing the right thing by the hard-working citizens of our great nation and vote in favor of this bill.

MessageMr. Speaker

My caucus are insulted by the insinutation by the Liberal Party that the Royalists do not put the Hutorian citizens first in any vote we make. We would like to state for the record we voted AGAINST the opening up of Free Foreign Investment WITH them the last time a similar Bill was created. Nor did we state we would not be voting in favor of this Bill to begin with. These are two direct insults to our integrity which we find quite disarming from the Liberals, five minutes after they have representation in this august body.

We will be voting in support of this we were merely curious as to the logic the Liberals found in their statement that open foreign investment automatically means jobs would be shipped away. Hutorian investors and businessmen are just as likely to make the same cold calculus about costs as any other businessperson internationally.

Regardless as stated we WILL be voting in support of this Bill, we believe it is the proper move for the Hutorian economy as it still gives foreign investors the power to invest in our companies.
