Message | Mr. Speaker We are curious as to why the Federalist are suggesting the Wolverine as our National Animal over the Stag. Senator Bradley Drake (R-FA) Deputy Leader of the Royalist Party of Hutori Royalist Senate Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We believe that the Wolverine is more represenative of Hutorian wildlife and the Hutorian people than the Stag. Furthermore the Stag is not in itself a species. However, as we said we are open to more suggestions. Senator Wyatt Smith (F-AD) |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I agree with the Federalist Party in that we should change our national animal to something more fitting, but while I agree that the Wolverine is fairly prevalent in our environment, I do not see a great connection between the wolverine and the people of Hutori. We are not aggressive, we do not seek out conflict. We may fight, yes, but it is sparingly and out of necessity. I suspect that there may be a superior alternative to both the Stag and the Wolverine. Message | Mr. Speaker, We are not suggesting that we are aggressive or that we are looking for a fight. The Wolverine is a solitary creature one that doesn't typically pick fights with others (Other than for prey). However, when it does find itself in a fight it is more than capable of handling itself even against foes that are larger and seemingly better equipped. The Wolverine perseveres against untenable odds, it's tenacious and it doesn't wavier. It is small yet strong, it is highly intelligent and it is adaptable. All of these qualities are reflected in the Hutorian people and that along with it being a prominent part of Hutorian wildlife is why we put for the Wolverine as a candidate for our national animal. Senator Wyatt Smith (F-AD) OOC: Oh and one of the reasons I thought of it was because we tangled with the Trigunian bear and survived. lol I'd still be open to other suggestions though. |
