Bill: C.U.P Income tax proposal of June 4040

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hutorian National Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4041

Description[?]:

Mr speaker,

This is the plan to reform the economic plan of the recent past set out by the liberals and to form a new, fairer conservative taxation plan which will encourage work and opportunity for the many, both the rich and the poor because we need to help not just the poor but also the rich to have a fully functioning society.

This proposed tax plan would result in lower taxes for everyone, and will provide stability for working families across the nation of Hutori. With the following changes to taxation we would not only put the people first, but would increase revenue by 13 Billion HLR. Not a huge increase I do admit but it is a huge improvement for the people as they will be keeping more of the money they worked hard and earned.

In this proposal we will see a tax cut for a huge, vast majority of working people. Nearly each person paying tax will be paying less than before under the liberal system. This shows that the true party for the people, is the conservatives. We are the ones who care and we will see a rise in revenue and a fall in poverty under this proposal. We want what's beneficial for all, not the few.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Mr. Greggor's claims that this is a bill for the people is completely unbased. This proposal simply takes more money from the pockets of hard working Hutorians. Why the increase? We already have a considerable surplus, why change the Tax Plan in place that works and is favored by the majority of Hutorians? Furthermore the attacks made by the CUP against the Liberal Party are simply the CUP throwing mud and hoping it sticks. The Liberal Party saw the most support in recent elections, obviously based from Legislation passed during President Castor's two terms in office.

Plain and simple, this is not a plan beneficial for all but a plan only beneficial to the rich. Ladies and gentlemen do not let Mr. Greggor's and the CUP deceive you, their lies are dangerous.

MessageMr speaker,

Mr Busch says this is a bill for the rich. How is a tax cut of for someone earning 15000 HLR for the rich? Or how is a tax cut for someone on a 28,000 HLR salary of 3% for the rich?

We are putting more into the people's pockets unlike an incompetent liberal party which is happy to set high taxes for everyone, but doesn't care about the revenues. Senators, the liberal party is trying to scare you saying we are dangerous. But I say it is those who think a tax cut for the poor is somehow helping the rich that are most damaging to this nation!

This is a bill to help Both the poor and the rich, what's wrong with helping both classes?

C.U.P Financial Adviser
