Message | Mr. Speaker-- It is beyond conceivable that the HCP left *immediately after* the election, thereby vacating us 6.5% of the seats in this chamber. When there is a new party in this chamber that has just entered (who we will probably rarely agree with), we want to give all parties a voice in this chamber, and want a recasting of the election. Message | OOC: As previously stated the threshold for calling elections due to empty seats is 15%. Besides in all likelihood the new party probably wouldn't recieve any seats. |

Message | ooc--the legislation you are referring to does allow for any party to still call for early elections (Section 3.1), and to spend 4 game years without a full chamber is such a waste. |

Message | NM: RIS he has a point. The only thing it does is force an early elections if the legislature is 15% empty or more... it says outright that all parties are more then free to request early elections as they wish. Ves |

Message | OOC: I'm know but, 6% is not enough to call an election. It wasn't too long ago that we had an election every time someone CTEd and the instability was madding and the constant shift was more than enough to negate any benefit from a gain in seats. |

Message | ooc--we haven't had a new cabinet installed yet, we are very fresh off of an election, it would not hurt to just quickly fill the lost seats, especially when the elections consistently show a similar appropriation of proportions. All we are doing is determining who will get the remaining 39 seats (cause little has changed such that the numbers will sway that much). |
