Message | Madam Speaker, If the liberal democratics believed in democracy, they would listen to the will of 2/3 of the people who voted. Those 2 thirds voted for parties wanting constitutional reforms. We must deliver the change of a lifetime. This is a change which should be embraced. The liberal Democratic Party has failed this election. They have fallen because their policies are considered irrelevant and they are deemed to put party before country. How are the liberal democrats Democratic? They should be called the Liberal Unelectables! *CUP senators laugh* The people voted for this change so let democracy take its course. Hutori will be a great constitutional monarchy and will last for 1000 years! Michael Davis, Leader of the CUP |

Message | Mr speaker How on earth can our party leader sit there and say that he is willing to sign up to this proposal. How does it advance the causes of what our party believes in. Francis Niles MP |

Message | Madam speaker, I can assure the honourable gentleman that this constitutional reform as the moderates leader himself quite rightly said, should be made. It seems that unfortunately the Centrist Moderates leader must be under huge pressure to resign if his opinion on the matter is the contrary to his own backbenchers! Leaders need to make difficult decisions to help the nation. If the CM leader can't do that then he isn't a true leader. I ask the centrist moderates to do the right thing for the nation. Michael Davis, Leader conservative unionist party |

Message | "Mdm. Speaker, I applaud the senators from the CM, who are doing their country proud by turning away from the anti-democratic forces in our politic. As for the CUP leader, it's no surprise that he wants the CM members to deny their conscience and follow a leader that they don't believe in, as he wants the entire country to do that! Monarchists can't even form a government! Call an election, and let's see who comes out on top!" - Minister Lynn Angel (LDP-RO) Leader of the LDP |

Message | Mdm Speaker, The right honourable lady says let's see who comes out on top, but quite frankly that comments coming from those who are rock bottom! *CUP senators laugh* The liberals need to understand that majority of people voted for a monarchist party. That is a fact. The honourable lady is telling lies. And as for the Centrists leader, the man is incapable of leading his own party *CUP senators jeer* Michael Davis, Leader conservative unionist party |

Message | "Mdm. (I think that's the shortened version anyway) Speaker, The right honorable senator says I'm telling lies? He told the Bekenial Dispatch that having a monarchy was a "certainty", and yet look at the results of this vote! The honorable gentleman will tell his caucus whatever they want to hear! They won't hold a vote because they're afraid they'll lose. The people of Hutori have had enough: tories can't govern! Since the honorable gentleman is so fond of tall tales, here's a line from one of my favorites: "They would not, could not, have a vote, and they will not, can not, have any hope!" - Minister Lynn Angel (LDP-RO) Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party |
Date | 00:15:45, August 05, 2016 CET | From | Hutorian Peoples Front | To | Debating the CUP: Monarchy restoration Part 1 |
Message | Madam speaker, We can govern. We are still in government, the liberals aren't! *CUP senators jeer* I don't want an election because we need stability and that means no more elections. We have had three in light of recent events. By not having an election we are doing the liberals a favour, they would lose again! We in this party stand up for what we believe in. The honourable lady is a political opportunist. Her motto is Career before Country! Well the people won't stand for it! Michael Davis, Leader conservative unionist party |

Message | Madam Speaker, Reverting this great republic back into a monarchy is tantamount to political treason in my eyes, and let me assure that we Republicans will never back a monarchy referendum. Oswald Kennedy (R-AD) National Senate Leader of the Republicans |
