Bill drafted by MP Joe Murray allowing the military to be called in to back up Law Enforcement Agencies in the event of serious circumstances. The Liberal Party, in this particular legislation, will define serious circumstances as events such as a State of Emergency has been called or a domestic threat causing mass death and damage. This bill will grant exclusive powers to the Premiers of each Province to call the military into the Province. No other individual shall have that power at the Federal, Provincial, or Local level. The President can dispatch the military into the Provinces during time of war when internal threats are imminent or have already occurred. |
