MessageFirstly, we ae glad to see that the most crucial position at this time- Foreign Affairs- has been given to the most sensible party in this bill. Overall, we are disappointed, though. That the CIP has decided not to include the only two parties who have been actively engaged in de-escalation talks is upsetting but no matter. We shall have to stomach this cabinet for three years and serve as opposition.

We shall not oppose as a mark of respect for this anti-Fascist cabinet nor shall we support due to the Rightist nature of it on the whole.

MessageThe LDoK would like to add that parties in Baltusia have been sending the party personal congratulations as they want to see an end to silly bickering between countries.

We will agree with the LP when they say that we must fight against fascism and we will openly support the LP where such a fight is present.

MessageWe welcome both parties comments. It is disappointing to hear that, to Baltusian politicians, international affairs are just viewed as 'silly bickering'. Hopefully, there is serious politic change for our neighbours soon. We will inform the incoming government, however, that we will continue to liaise with Baltusian parties on behalf of the nation, reporting our findings where necessary.

We would like to take the LDoK up on their offer immediately. Rumour has it that the NNP wants to form a militia, will these join our condemnation of this action. Given their worrying human rights record, we don't believe they should be trusted with official militia status.

MessageIf the 'Rightist nature' is a reference to the LDoK here, we would like to put an end to such an exhausting stigma. We are a centre-left party as a rule. We are strongly for government intervention where necessary; we are strongly for free access to healthcare and education regardless of income; we are strongly for the individual freedoms of our people.

When parties such as the LDoK and CIP work together (both parties having rather different ideas of how Kalistan should operate), it shows how far left and out of control the previous government must have been.

DO NOT get us wrong - we agree with the LP on many many issues and have openly supported them for presidency on several occasions. We have the most in common with the KUP when it comes to voting records; and we have also collaborated with the SPoK to ensure better lives for the people of Kalistan. It has not been until the last couple of terms that the LDoK have seen a change in attitudes of the far left parties. It felt that arguments with parties inside, and outside, of Kalistan were more for dogmatic reasons than beneficial reasons.

The one thing we must take out of the latest election results is that the Neo Nationalists gained a serious amount of support. Kalistan's politicians must openly campaign to prevent such a regime getting into power.

MessageThe LDoK support the LP with this notion, but see it to be unfair if we only blocked one party from having said militia. The Libertarians believe in total free speech and would see this as a breech of the NNP's.

If all party militias were to be restricted we would be able to support such a notion.

MessageWe apologise if the LD construed our comments as being an attack on them. We'll phrase them more clearly: 'nor shall we support due to the fact that the CIP are involved.'

We will never support the abolition of militias. Free speech is one thing, the right to organise a paramilitary organisation is a completely separate one.

MessageThis is true, but we struggle to see how this could be done - why does one party have less of a right to set up a paramilitary than another?

We understand they have vastly different goals for Kalistan than most all of the other parties, but find it hard to see justice in such a notion. If they were to show signs of violence or breaking the law of the land then we would openly support a bill to deconstruct their organisation.

MessageWe personally base our decision on their statement 'better dead than red'. Whilst there are many talented, trained and skilled Labour members, there are far more who are not shall we say 'in peak physical condition'. The idea that they should be surrounded by a gang of Fascist thugs- I cannot lie- it scares me.

MessageWe support the right of all Parties to set up a militia. As far as I see, the Fascists have done nothing so far in Kalistan except propose a bunch of politically repulsive bills. If they use their militia to carry out fascism, that's a different story, but they have only just earned seats in the Assembly, so the notion that they actually support the proposals that they have made has yet to be tested. I support giving them the benefit of the doubt, and extending them the same privileges as the SP itself claims.

After all- there has only been one Party in our Assembly who has ever fired shots in war, both in invasion and against fascist government in Kalistan. That is the RSMoK. Point being, the only one with a demonstrable history of violence is my militia. The Nationalists do not have such a history, and if they can agree to act as decent and responsible national actors, the same as any Party's militia can be expected, I would serve next to them on the front lines if our country was being invaded.

We are not scared of fascists. We know they can be beaten. We have a proven track record to demonstrate it.

I say we give the Neo-Nationalist Party a chance to enjoy the same privileges I insist upon, and let their own actions speak for them.

MessageWe will concede on this point but the People's Army will plan a series of exercises for what we are referring to as 'high risk' areas. Specifically, this is areas where we believe Labour Party members are at risk. More details will be forthcoming soon but these will not be combat simulation exercises.

MessageThe Current Militia Bill leaves the max size of the militia indeterminate.

The SP's Militia is calculated to be at about 8/10s of 1 percent of its current voting population, or 4200 people. During the war, our size went up to about 17,000, but that was when 60 Million people were supporting us and we were the only Party in Kalistan.

When the NNP registers its militia, keep in mind that these are about the sizes we are looking for: Not necessarily something which is comparable to a national army, but something that is relatively tiny and only significant during times of war.

MessageI think we should agree that the size of a Party's Militia should be reasonable. 5000, for a Party which represents more than 2x our size would be more than reasonable, but at the end of the day, you are the ones who decide what you need.

These are Partisans... I am sure we can all be reasonable. :)
