Message | Mr. Speaker This is already covered by the provisions of Bill L-1: the Local Defence Act, which allows all provinces the ability to create their own Provincal Militias. The strength of our Republic comes from the combined strength of our provinces together; devolving something like National Defence, to the Provinces critically weakens us. We can not allow something like this to stand. Even the most devolved centric political parties agree National Defence should be handled by the Federal Government and it is how we wish for it remain. Message | ''Mr. Speaker This is a really bad idea. If this bill is pass, and we hope it won't pass, it would make our army weaker. If we want to win our wars Hutori needs to stay united. This bill will only divide us and make us weak against our potential ennemys.'' -Adam Harper Senator of the National Progress Party |
