Bill: Workers' Cabinet Proposal of February 4125

Details

Submitted by[?]: Scientian Enclave

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4126

Description[?]:

The HPP proposes a cabinet composed entirely of the proletariat! Each of our candidates are members of the working class. We donate all of our candidates' salaries. We understand that the other parties may not like their lack of representation, but we hope the reasonable among them will compel their otherwise counter-revolutionary parties to support a cabinet that is made up of the people that keep Hutori running. No masters, but the proletariat! All power to the workers! No excuses, no apologies, no compromises! Join us comrades, protect the freedom of locals and the working men and women of Hutori!

Message''Mr. Speaker

It would be totally stupid and anti-democratic to give to give all the power to a party that didn't even get 10 percent of vote. The HPP are claiming to be the representatives of the working class but in reality they are just a bunch lunatic who don't understand how our political system work.

In all the crazy idiotic things that the Hutorian Proletarian Party has proposed in the last 30 years, this is probably the worst. We won't support this cabinet proposal and I hope nobody will.''

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
