| Message | The time has come to overcome certain questions of State: With these changes we propose a new step, a step forward that will further guarantee democracy in our country. This could be the beginning of a transition that leaves behind the conflicts that occurred in the past. The new flag shows the unity of our country and our compatriots around a democracy that defends human rights and freedom at all levels. The new hymn, updated for this new epoch, has the capacity to bring everyone together in a joint struggle: the defense of our democratic values. The other changes, although minor, aim to emphasize the essence of our system: The Federal Republic that lives together for a future of hope. I hope that we can all agree to carry out the democratic changes in order to live in freedom and prosperity for each and every one of the people who live in our beautiful and great country.
