Message | Foreign aid is a waste of time. We send money off to crack pot communist dictators who use it to build nukes and line their pockets. And then, a year or so later, they come back for more. If foreign aid worked we wouldn't be here debating it today. We need to find alternative ways to help poorer countries prosper and grow. |
Date | 06:31:39, January 01, 2017 CET | From | Hutori Socialists | To | Debating the Bill NP-30: Increase aid to country in need |
Message | It is our ethical responsibility to give it nations in need, not necessarily the governments they belong to. Statistics show that the poorest nations are also the most corrupt, so we need to ensure that these human beings are being left to rot. Through effective grassroots programs, we can rebuild nations and give hope to people living on the margins of society. |
