MessageSpeaker,

Our members believe that there's no room for religion inside our educational system, which is why we will vote Nay on this bill.

MessageMr Norman,

Our children should learn about the rich culture of religion. Parents should have the freedom to choose if they want their children to learn about religion or not. This isn't proselytization, this is light evangelisation. Two different things.

MessageSpeaker,

We are not taking away the freedom of the parent to teach his or her child about religion: That is still possible at home or in the many beautiful churches that our nation has.

Besides: We, as Dorvish patriots, find it very important that our children learn about our great culture, but that has nothing to do with being forced to pray. Why don't we let these children read about our historical heroes in the time that they should actually be praying? That's worth way more in terms of cultural education.

Religious schools aren't even legal in this country right now, so why are we even discussing religious schools that don't even exist?

MessageMr Norman,

Prayer would last about 2 minutes, not enough time to learn about a historical figure. We're planning to introduce religious schools.
