| Message | Mr. Speaker, The current law does not hinder a woman from choosing. It merely limits the time alotted, which is done for various reasons one of which is that the further along the pregnancy the more like an abortion will cause physiological and psychological harm to the woman. Secondly, is the fact that entering into the third trimester the fetus is almost completely developed hence it becomes closer and closer to infanticide. The current law strikes a balance between a woman's choice and potential health complications. Furthermore, this bill offers no specifics, it does not detail the law.
