MessageMr. Speaker,

The Grand Chancellor chairs the cabinet. The Grand Chancellor has appointed his cabinet. This is nothing but ridiculous and opportunistic posturing from the Socialist Party, who just two years ago had no representation in this Conference. If the Socialists are serious about working for Indralans, they should stop with their petty and desperate grabs for power. Also, this proposal raises serious concerns about the authenticity of their convictions; entering into a coalition with monarchist parties despite claiming to be pro-republican.

MessageWe are a republican party, yes, but we accept the result of the referendum, just like the Lotus Party should accept that their support plummeted in the last election due to the Socialists offering a new voice for Indralans. We are willing to work with the Lotus Party, but their rude, unnecessary and disrespectful manner in this elected body to a party who aims for peace and unity isn't able to be forgiven at this time. Now is the time for an Indrala of hope.

MessageMr. Speaker,

A party which seeks to destabilize the government through an impossible coalition proposal, while at the same time working to get rid of NHIC coverage for millions of Indralans is not a party of “hope” or “unity”!

MessageWe plead the Lotus Party to form a government as they have the Grand Chancellery. The Socialists are saddened by the other parties behaviour of soundbites and want to reiterate our policy of an open government with parties of different talents.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Centre Party respects the will of the people, and as the largest party in this National Conference, we believe we can speak on behalf of a large majority of Indralans.

We will support a government that is led by Grand Chancellor Dr. Yi Junkai, as he was rightfully chosen by the people of this country. Despite the bold claims of the Socialist Party, they are mistaken in their thinking. His or Her Excellency; the Grand Chancellor, is the rightful head of government in this country. Any attempt at forming government without the people's mandate is ill-conceived and insulting to Indralans.

With great respect, wee encourage Mr. Li to re-evaluate his party's support in this National Conference. Over confidence is your weakness, and you've clearly displayed that today. Five-hundred and forty-four elected representatives in this National Conference voted down this proposal, including members from the parties which you included in this proposal.

We encourage all members of this National Conference to remind themselves of their humility and honour. In great times of change, such as our current transition towards re-instating the monarchy - there is no place for impulse and partisanship. Remind yourselves of who put you in this National Conference, and who you are here to serve.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
