Description[?]:
We are calling upon the Government and Foreign Minister to address the foreign policy strategy of our nation in Dovani. There are growing concerns among our party's membership regarding the ability of our government to achieve a central role for our nation in Dovani. There once was an era when the Indralan Empire held great influence upon this continent and it has been the hope of many that the restoration of the Dragon Throne would bring about a new age of Indralan power. However, there are problems in Dovani that remain unaddressed and specifically we look towards the foreign policy positioning of the Dranian tyrants. Once an isolated regime with no recognition, their propaganda machine has been busy in gathering allies throughout the world. Now they are positioned to enter the Northern Dovani Cooperation Alliance, gaining military protection from Kazulia and Lourenne, and they are signing a cooperation agreement with Sekowo. And already they have been in an agreement with Hulstria. The Dranian regime must be stopped and Indrala must take action to position Dovani against those tyrants, instead of allowing this continent to fall into alignment with our enemies. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We in the opposition are glad to see that one of the junior coalition partners is holding this government to account. It is essential that our country develops an all-party foreign policy strategy so as to ensure consistency across various administrations. Unilateral policy drafting was the ultimate failure of Grand Chancellor Kwan's "Indrala Wants In" foreign policy platform. There are a couple points which we feel must be included in the new foreign policy strategy: (1) Nations in Keris are of particular interest to our country. New Endralon has consistently been a good trading partner for our country and has expressed their willingness to discuss closer economic ties and free trade agreements. Recently, I met with former-President, now Minister-President of Trigunia Lyonya Brantov. After the meeting, the Mr. Brantov was resolved to oppose Taeyang's illegitimate reign. His party has also adopted a manifesto which sets closer bilateral ties as a top priority (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?p=128122#p128122). We must continue to expand our relationship with these nations. (2) Valruzia has proven to be a trusted trading partner; it is important that we expand trading opportunities in Southern Seleya (particularly Aldegar and Tukarali as well). (3) Vanuku is a historical ally of our nation, but has recently signed a military alliance with Dankuk. We should work to realign with this nation. The government has hinted at communications on a military level; this must be developed. (4) Istalia is a geographically close nation and major economy. Our government should pursue closer economic arrangements with Istalia; attempts in the past have shown a bilateral interest in getting something accomplished on this file. (5) Of course, the regime in Dankuk is an enemy not only to Indrala but to the universal rights of man. We must continue to oppose this illegitimate regime and weaken their propagation abroad. -- Dai Jinhao Leader Lotus Party |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We are in agreement with the points made by Party Leader Dai. Indrala, while Dovani is certainly the centre of our historic power, has many allies beyond the continent. As a broad strategy is developed by the Foreign Ministry and others in leadership it will be important to work with those partners we have beyond Dovani. And as Leader Dai has highlighted, many are long-time allies of Indrala. Lü Yejun Party Leader New Dawn |
