Description[?]:
The FR recently proposed a bill including this exact reform, we would however not support it due to the capitalistic reforms it also included. We seek not to copy the Factio Republicana but rather to co-operate with them on this one question. All power to the workers! -Eksandr Temrtamnr, PHS spokesperson of finance and repressentative of the jelbic minority community in Selucia. |

Message | Senators, On its own this proposal would do nothing to enhance economic and social liberty in the Republic, since the vast majority of our industries are owned and operated by the state. Rebecca Clodia Pastor Senatrix |

Date | 19:55:19, April 24, 2018 CET | From | Factio Republicana Socialistica | To | Debating the DWC Revolution Act |
Message | Which production exactly? Most firms are in the hands of the state under current legislation. This proposal on its own would not change that. Rebecca Clodia Pastor Senatrix |
Date | 01:47:39, April 25, 2018 CET | From | Factio Communistarum | To | Debating the DWC Revolution Act |
Message | Such a move would be a step in the right direction in the short term, but in the long term it would not alter the underlying issues with the present political economy. With the market still intact, any collective ownership by the workforce would still be forced to operate within the confines of profit, and produce commodity products for exchange rather than for use. However, as we are in full support of the short term aims of the bill, we shall support the EPHS's proposal. Saturio Carantus, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the FCS |
