Bill: Superannuation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Gaduridos Labour [PAG]
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4399
Description[?]:
Providing for Gaduridan workers in their retirement is vitally important to the financial health of our nation and the social responsibilities that we hold to our people. By ensuring workers accumulate retirement savings during their working life, we will reduce draw down on state pensions and reduce the need to provide additional taxpayer supplements. Any contribution made by an employer or by an employee supplementing the fund may be invested by corporate or industry led super funds to maximise value for retirees. As a responsible party, Labour acknowledges that a marginal corporate tax cut would be best to assist companies in paying for this - with savings from this bill filling any budgetary hole in the treasury. |
