Bill: Cabinet Proposal of September 4410 (GPA - GG - PCP - SfG)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Green Progressive Alliance [PAG]

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4411

Description[?]:

We propose a broad coalition that unites Gaduridos. This coalition has a majority of 201 out of 325 seats. It unites a left-wing party (the GPA) with two centre parties (SfG and GG) and a right-wing party (PCP). It also unites the largest winners of the past election. More so, this coalition has the chance to unite the progressives and the conservatives in one cabinet that can stabilize Gaduridos politics.

MessageWe do not view GG! as a centrist party, but we will vote in favor of this Cabinet. We appreciate the GPA's desire to form a broad coalition, and we hope that this government will be able to provide stability to the country and avoid further early elections.

MessageWe thank the PCP for the support. We would like to add that the other parties in Gaduridos can be helpfull in governing this nation. Even though these four parties might form a broad majority, we would like to see reforms and proposals that can count on the support and input of parties like the GCP, the SCP and the GLG.

MessageA party vote on joining this coalition, open to all GG members has been held today, compared to previous votes on proposed coalitions, the party leadership has not recommended either of the two options this time.

The results of the vote are in now:

Results of the Go Gaduridos! Party Vote on the Cabinet Proposal of September 4410:

Yes, I would like to support this proposed coalition: 60.43%

No, I would not like to support this proposed coalition: 38.47%

Invalid: 1,10%

The party base voted relatively clearly to join the coalition. Opponents spoke of giving up values for power, but in the end, in large part due to the chaotic current situation of the government, supporters of the coalition were able to prevail and convince the base to join it.

Also Go Gaduridos is not centrist, we are left-wing.
