MessageMembers of the Assembly!

Can we just get this government crisis over and done with? This proposed cabinet commands 2/3rds of the house. It is our sincere wish to cooperate with the 4 other parties included in this proposal. Again, the National Front will cut down on the number of ministries it helms in order to provide an equal standing for other parties to participate in this coalition.

MessageMr. Speaker,

As seen in the previous Republican Declaration, it has been absolutely clear that the Republican Camp and its radical members have no sincerity in building compromise. While the PAP will not rule out entering into coalition with monarchist or rrepublican parties, we will absolutely refuse to co-operate with parties that refuses to build progress across the political spectrum.

MessageMr. Speaker,

With the official withdrawal of the People's Action Party from this coalition, it cannot go forward; the only recourse is to support the National Unity and Reconciliation Agreement, or to authorize a snap election. The people cannot be without a complete executive for another full year.

MessageMr. Speaker,

In this case, we call upon the creation of a Republican-DJP coalition, which does not include the PAP.

The government must begin to function!

MessageMr Speaker,

As the new Secretary-General of Democratic Justice Party, I hereby declare that DJP will abstain from voting in both cabinet proposals.

To stand by our neutrality, with two proposals by two different coalitions of different ideologies, it will be unfair if the party were to vote in either proposal.

To end this misery of having no Government in the country, the DJP will agree to call for an election as soon as possible. As Han Wei Yi has said time and again, in which I agree too, that DJP is not an anti-monarchist, or anti-republican party. We will vote according to the people's interests, and will stand by to defend the Indralans. I hate to repeat that time and again, as I have no patience to do so unlike Han, so let this be the final one. It's either everyone gets it, or everyone don't.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.

Random quote: "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun... our principle is to have the Party control the gun and never allow the gun to control the Party." - Mao Zedong
