Bill: Abortion Funding Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Republican Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4426

Description[?]:

Following feedback on some of the Republican Party manifesto commitments, we choose to put forward the following for the consideration of the Presidium as we feel there may be enough support for it to put it on the statute books. We propose to limit abortion funding to those who require it, rather than paying for everyone to have access to abortions.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We again see men making these decisions, limiting again the choice of women. We will not stand for it! There is a right to choose in this country, and it shall not be violated in the name of a spending cut!
