MessageMr. Speaker,

While our party is in favour of increases to these tax rates, the increase needs to be slower and graduated, so as not to cause unnecessary harm to our economy. Prudence is especially important considering the economic downturn in Seleya. These changes represent a 400% change to our marginal corporate tax rate and a 300% change to the luxury tax rate.

Our Party will be proposing a graduated increase to these tax rates by raising each by a single percentage point for H1 and another for H2 and so on.
