| This session of Parliament is convened to discuss our response to the current crisis in Telamon. The relevant facts are as follows: The Telamonese government is legalizing slavery. The Telamonese government is significantly reducing the age of adulthood. (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=89&start=340#p145389, http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=591974) We uphold several anti-slavery treaties that compel us to action. Our Fifth Fleet is headquartered and deployed out of Migadon Joint Naval Base in Telamon Some of the Potential Courses of Action: We declare war. We embargo Telamon We blockade Telamonese waters We deploy covert forces to Telamon We attempt a more diplomatic solution. We pull the fifth fleet and ignore the situation. This session is hereby opened to discussion from the floor. |
